Centum Learning has an astounding presence in 15 countries, out of which 14 are in Africa. Through this broad spectrum, Centum Learning has acquired rich experience in corporate training and skill development domain across 21 industry verticals. From enhancing skills of banking professionals to working with NGOs in order to empower youth and women, Centum Learning is moving ahead in the field of learning and development in the African region.

Centum Learning has its longest association with Airtel in Africa. Centum Learning, in partnership with Airtel has established airtel service academie, Airtel Centum Sales Academy and launched New Hire Induction Programme, G.U.E.S.T. programme, iCARE programmes as part of training interventions for customer service.

Headquartered in Kenya, Centum Learning is also making its presence felt by creating an impact in different regions of Africa and forging alliances with clients from diverse industries. With its expertise in the training sector, Centum Learning Africa was responsible for training key account managers of Lafarge Cement Zambia, which is headquartered in Paris. Lafarge is a world leader in building materials and has its presence in 64 countries.

Centum Learning Africa had entered into a strategic partnership with Hemsley Fraser to drive training and skill building solutions in different sectors across Africa. Successful execution of this partnership in Africa resulted in this relationship getting extended to other geographies like Asia, US and Europe. Centum Learning had been successful in forging this prestigious partnership because of its ability to offer diverse learning and development solutions, innovative approach and the capability to make breakthrough performance a reality.

National Bank of Kenya Limited (NBK) has entrusted the responsibility of providing corporate training solutions to its employees placed at their call centers to Centum Learning, the focus being, to enhance customer experience. Centum Learning, with its rich expertise in providing effective training solutions, ensured that innovative methodology was devised to cater to the needs of NBK.

Centum Learning entered into a strategic partnership with Breakthrough, a global human rights organization for implementation of projects aimed at women and youth empowerment. The organization engages and educates communities on issues like HIV, AIDS, domestic violence to empower youth and women.

Centum Learning formed a strategic alliance with Patrick Bitature. As a part of this collaboration, in association with Patrick Bitature, it aimed to increase equitable access to skill development in Uganda while improving effectiveness through Business, Technical, Vocational Education and Training (BTVET).

Centum Learning partnered with International Data Management Services (IDM) to launch Centum International Academy in Nigeria to offer vocational education. IDM is a leading global ICT company serving Nigeria for over three decades.

Centum Learning had been selected by Google Inc.to initially train 150,000 youth across Africa as part of Google’s Digital Skills for Africa – a drive to train one million youth in digital skills. Google announced this initiative last year, which is part of its digital economy to boost existing businesses, grow new business and create employment opportunities especially in media and advertising sectors.

Centum Learning has also partnered with Kenya Red Cross Society to skill youth across Kenya. Initially, Red Cross will mobilize 100,000 youth across Kenya for the Google Digital Skills Training, targeting youth largely in refugee camps. Red Cross recognises Centum Learning as a key skill development partner with the mandate to ensure that youth, especially from marginalized areas, receive effective livelihood training.

Centum Learning has partnered with McKinsey Social Initiative, under the ‘Generation’ project to skill youth in Kenya. The project brings together the social, public, and private sectors to implement innovative approaches to complex societal challenges. Since the launch of the project, Centum expanded the horizon to 12 cities within a span of 6 months and trained around 500 youth with 100% placement.
